The 1908 is a premier coffee lab education center. As part of the Melitta brand, the 1908 needed to blend well with the Melitta brand while having its own distinct identity. This project was completed as part of a graduate class. All classmates competed, and this mark was 2nd place. The botanical was created to represent the entire coffee making process and science. There are 8 beans on the plant. The monochrome design with subtle pops of red was chosen to reflect Melitta’s sophistication and expertise.
